My agent and the blokes who keep track of those things at the WWN say that "Pretty Pensieve" is number thirteen on the charts after being out for a week. Who says thirteen is unlucky!

The new record should be out in just a few weeks. I'm so excited, it's like the first time I've done this all over again. Of course, that was with the band. It's a bit different, not having a whole group of us nervous and excited like I am.
I think I want to plan a party, for the release. Something a bit classier than the band did the first go around, though. I'll have to keep thinking about it.

I fell in love today. It was love at first sight - which I've always written songs about but never known that I really believed in. Until today. There he was in this little ecclectic muggle shop in London, while I was out looking for a new outfit for a show I've been invited to do to promote the new album, and as soon as I saw him I knew I had to have him.
If I could marry my new guitar, I would have run off with him and done it already.

Two songs in to the new album! I am really enjoying being in the studio again - and this is all my music, not just collaborations, so I'm even more anxious to be finished with it and have it out.
Which prompts me to have a little quiz in my journal today.
Question: What's your favourite song by a wizarding singing or band?
I know you have varied tastes, I'm sure you'll put together a great list. Unicorns songs will, of course, earn you some bonus points and my affection!

I know that there have been a few rumors. I think Teen Witch ran a gossip article about it a few weeks ago. So, to alleviate those rumors - Yes, I'm recording a new album. A bit of solo work. No, that does not mean that The Unicorns are disbanding.
We've just been on a bit of a hiatus, so I thought it might be fun to try out something different - and this will be something completely different. A little less rock, a little more ... well, I guess you'll see when it's finished!
And just to say it - it's bloody brilliant to be back in the studio again! I'd almost forgotten how much I love the process of it.

You know, even though they're not my team, I always root for Chudley when they play. I mean, there's something about the underdog, isn't there? I know it's completely inexplicable, but I felt so proud when they had that win in the pre-season! As if somehow my wanting them to win had had something to do with it.
That didn't quite work out for them today, though.
And the fact that I was listening to Quidditch at all really prooves that I ought to have something more to do. Dem, I want to get back in the studio!
